WHAT THIS BOOK IS ABOUT
I’ve written this book because I couldn’t find it for myself when my curiosity of how we can intuitively know things was piqued. After years of exhaustive research and intensive application this book is the result – it is about accessing intuition in an observable measurable way when you need it; a way that can allow you to continuously choose paths of least resistance and greatest reward. This book is not about mysticism or spirituality, nor about interpreting signs, feelings, visions or dreams. Nor is it about putting in thousands of hours to become unconsciously competent at something. It’s about developing a sense and a skill that has atrophied in most people in what until recently has been a locally focused, linear growth and linear thinking world. However, intuition is a sense and a skill that is now required to thrive in this new globally focused exponentially growing world. I predict that linear thinkers in leadership positions, particularly in business, will become as extinct as the dinosaurs. Soon they will either have to adapt and evolve or be usurped and surpassed by more nimble, more resilient and more creative decision makers. As Steven Kotler and Peter Diamandis wrote in their best-selling book about the new exponential economy, Bold: How to Go Big, Create Wealth and Impact the World “Today we live in a world that is global and exponential” versus local and linear…”The problem is our (linear) brains and thus our perceptual capabilities were never designed to process at either this scale or this speed. Our linear minds literally cannot grasp the exponential progression”…where 30 exponential steps are the equivalent of 1 billion linear steps.
